Mapei’s Planiseal CR1 has been awarded SCS Indoor Advantage Gold certification by SCS Global Services, an independent, ISO-accredited, third-party certification body. Unlike other cold-liquid-applied products on the market, Planiseal CR1 does not include asphalt, tar, or solvents, which makes it safe to use even in occupied spaces. There is no concern with sparks or flames catching the Planiseal CR1 on fire because there are no fumes. This also means that the applicator does not have to wear a respirator. Planiseal CR1 is easily applied with no mixing, does not require a primer, will not shrink, and is VOC-compliant in virtually all municipalities. Not only is it rugged enough for exterior use on industrial applications including structural foundations, parking decks, and bridges, Planiseal CR1 waterproofing can also be used vertically on walls and horizontally on decks, and on interior applications such as commercial and residential bathrooms and kitchens.
